Olah Toetag cadavers! I am writing from the Dominican Republic where Jerami and I (Cristie) are doing the SPFX for a vampire comedy called "Al Fin y Al Cabo" directed by Alfonso Rodriguez. Jerami built full body melting vampires, a bullet holed torso and some wicked vampire bleeding wounds. We've designed the vampire make up full of veins and death including fangs and blood filled eyes. It was tough making them comical and had to rework the "too realistic scary" make ups. All went well, though. The movie is packed with famous Dominican comedians and Venezuelan actresses. It will be released in theaters sometime next year in the D.R. and selected areas of the U.S. I will keep everyone posted as I am. Most everyone here is incredibly kind. The island is beautiful and so are the people. We don’t speak any Spanish so it has been a riot communicating. I will miss the fruit and coconut trees and the warm sunshine! Be sure to keep an eye out for "Brutal Massacre" in July. If you didn’t see the article in Fangoria, Jerami did the SPFX and I was Key Make up. Adios!

Everybody at TOETAG has been busy with things the news has been a little neglected but in this update we will try and make up for it.
Last months Fangoria featured a 3 page article on Brutal Massacre. A film featuring
Jerami Cruises Special FX with a photo of him and his Zombie creation
and Cristie Whiles as key make up artist. This comedy about making a
horror movie is filled with horror icons including David Naughton, Gunnar Hansen, Ellen Sandweiss, Ken Foree, Brian O'Halloran and masters of horror creator Mick Garris. Although
it was last months issue, try getting your hands on the article and take a peak.
TOETAG also wished to announce that we are guests at Horrorhound Weekend in Pittsburgh. Which incidentally is being held at Monroeville so for all you out of towners you can walk across the parking lot and see for yourself the wonders of where Romero shot his horror masterpiece. So if you are in the area please come and see what merchandise we have to offer and meet and hang with TTP. We would love to see you there!
In other news late last month TOETAG were back in action filming a small project. What will it be? The answer will be revealed shortly!

In the effort to revamp the whole website Anthony has been busy chain smoking and throwing his mouse over the room and has finally unleashed the new TTP Webstore. Paypal has gone and we have introduced taking both Visa and Mastercard. In celebration of the joyous event we are offering a 20% discount of selected items. Please note that we have had to implement a new account system so if you were a regular at the store or have ordered from us before you will have to create a new account. All orders made prior to the relaunch have been taken and will be shipped accordingly.
So go take a look and let us know what you think.

REDSIN TOWER ANNOUNCEMENT |
|
Friday, 14 September 2007 |
|
Greetings Sicko's,
It was been a very exciting year for us here at TOETAG. Last October we premiered The Redsin Tower to a sellout crowd at OUR favorite Horror Convention CINEMA WASTELAND, a week later Shelby and I got married. Right after the wedding was the Pittsburgh Premiere and After Party. Then we were off to NYC for a sellout screening at the Pioneer and the Living Dead Dolls Art Show. TOETAG returned home to complete the final August Underground film PENANCE and release it in time for April’s Wasteland. Not to mention, the excitement of the Fantasia Festival and gracing the cover of Rue-Morgue Magazine. I can't believe it’s almost October and Cinema Wasteland is right around the corner.
As you TTP FANS probably know we've premiered almost all of our films at WASTELAND. Also it’s where you can get all the newest TOETAG merchandise, before it even hits our Webstore. So what's new from TOETAG you might ask? Well how about getting The Redsin Tower ON DVD.
We've had distribution companies’ contact us for the rights to Redsin but we believed that know one could give this film the proper treatment, so TOETAG and Xploited Cinema are proud to announce the single disc version of The Redsin Tower. This DVD contains: an anamorphic 16x9 version of the film with commentary by TOETAG, Butchering Becky - a behind the scenes look on how the FX came into play with commentary by Jerami Cruise, a Still Gallery with music from Scott Hull and 2 trailers.
You will be able to pre-order Redsin here at TOETAG and Xploited Cinema. By pre-ordering, you will receive a Redsin Tower Patch along with the movie. Pre-orders end on Oct. 9 so act now to get your limited edition patch complements of TOETAG and Xploited Cinema.
So the official street date for the movie is Oct. 10 but if you can make it out to Cinema Wasteland you can get the movie before anyone else. I encourage you to make it out to this show. Like I said before it is our favorite show and has the best parties and cool people. This show lets us mingle with our long time fans, as well as turn people on to TOETAG who have never heard of us. There is also a midnight screening of August Underground's PENANCE with an introduction by Superfan Rob the Ripper.
Again, we would like to thank you TTP FANS for all your support through the years. You are the black blood that keeps us pumping.
Stay Sick
Fred Vogel and TTP
